If the scan box is lost, destroyed, unusable, there is a charge of 100€ for a new one. The treatment does not include chewies-chew rolls, rubber bands, torn buttons. It is essential to communicate with the practice via chat – sending important information regarding treatment, hygiene, condition, changes to gums, mucous membranes, etc. it is essential to respond to messages.

It is essential to be imaged in a timely manner – ON THE DAY OF CALL. If for some reason it is not possible to get your imaging done on time, an apology must be sent to the chat, no later than 3 days. In case of non-compliance, this is considered a violation of the doctor’s instructions and a 1st call for a new scan is sent. The patient again has 3 days for a new scan.

If even this deadline is not met – the doctor is not responsible for the outcome of the treatment that the patient has arbitrarily interrupted. If due to non-compliance with the scanning and changing intervals a rescan for new splints is necessary, the patient will be charged a RESCAN of €200

With improper brushing of the teeth, a visit to a dental hygienist is necessary. If dental hygiene has not been carried out in our practice and we find deficiencies in this area, we are entitled to request a certificate of completion. Dental hygiene is recommended every 6 months,- with satisfactory hygiene. It is forbidden to sand the surfaces of the teeth on which the attachments are. Other teeth may be sandblasted.

The reason for the strictness of dental hygiene is to keep the teeth in the best possible condition during the clipper treatment.

It is important to remember that Dental monitoring does not replace preventive check-ups !!!

Proper fitting of the aligners means that after 7 (10-14) days of wearing the aligners 22 hours a day, all the teeth are positioned accurately, according to the foil, and all the attachments are in their designated places in the bubbles in the foil. This is why the use of chewies is important

– In case of slight misalignment of the aligners, add longer chewies

– In case of noticeable misalignment of the aligners, send a reminder which teeth are not exactly according to the aligner and you need to focus on just those teeth, using chewies. In this case, the new scan will not be in 7 (10-14) days, depending on the doctor’s indication, but in 3 (5) days, until the machine bites have fully arrived. Again, imaging ON TIME is essential !!!

• Within about 24 hours, a report with the result of the analysis arrives, where the patient receives information whether it is possible to switch to the next machine number or not. It is essential to follow the instructions of the application. The patient is FORBIDDEN to change machine numbers arbitrarily, this is also considered as non-compliance and violation of the doctor’s instructions!!!
• Most often, 6 weeks before the end of the series of machines, it is necessary to scan the patient in the outpatient clinic. From the TIME of the scan, until a new series of machines is handed in, it is imperative to continue wearing the machines 22 hours a day, taking scans and following the instructions on the app.
• If a rescan is necessary before 6 weeks before the end, the patient receives the so-called ESSIX-films, which are worn every night (12 hours) until the new clippers arrive and follow the instructions in the application.
• If the patient does not wear the aligners enough, does not follow the doctor’s instructions and the application, the doctor will NOT be held responsible for any misalignment of the teeth and misfitting of the aligners.
• If the new aligners do not fit sufficiently because the patient did not follow previous instructions, a new scan, in-office photography, and fabrication of a new set of aligners will incur a fee of $150, which is not included in the cost of the aligners.
• In case of damage to the ESSIX splint, it is essential to report this damage immediately and follow the instructions of the staff. In case of failure to report the damage immediately, we do NOT accept any guarantee for the shifting of the teeth and fitting of the new aligners.
• The production of new ESSIX razors, due to the irresponsible approach, is 140€ per pair and 70€ per piece.

RULES FOR WEARING CLIPPERS

• 22 hours a day
• It is taken out when eating and brushing teeth
• It is placed in a box designed for this purpose, not in a napkin, where there is a risk of throwing it away by mistake, e.g. in a restaurant, hospital…
• Do not store near heat sources, pets – may cause deterioration, deformation
• Clean with a toothbrush under running water, with the help of cleaning foam designed for this purpose, to remove all dirt from the surface and to keep the blades clean and transparent
• do not eat turmeric and curry
• do not chew coloured sweets
• do not drink coffee, wine, coloured and sweetened drinks
• after every meal and sweetened drink clean the teeth and the blades
• do not eat food with the blades on
• do not eat hard food ! RISK OF DISPOSAL OF ATACHMENTS AND BALLS
