Genetic tests for health and diagnosis

Our clinic offers specialized genetic and microbiological tests aimed at identifying periodontal disease and risk factors.

Indications for genetic testing:

Parodontitis – confirmation of diagnosis, monitoring of persistent inflammation, planning of surgical treatment.
Pregnancy – prevention of risky pregnancy associated with chronic gingivitis.
Before implant surgery – detection of genetic and microbial risks.
Systemic diseases – cardiovascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes and others.

Types of tests:

Dental BAC – DNA detection of pathogenic bacteria (e.g. Porphyromonas gingivalis, Treponema denticola).

Dental GEN – Genotyping (e.g. IL-1A, IL-1B genes).

Collection procedure:

The sample is collected from the subgingival vesicles using sterile suppositories.
It is not recommended to use antibacterial preparations before collection.
Samples are processed within 15 working days.
